# Inven — full page index > Inven is software for M&A teams. It generates one-pagers and overview slides in the firm's PowerPoint template, searches native company data covering 28M+ companies (Inven product data, August 2026), and runs industry-specific M&A workflows as saved, reusable tasks inside the product. The reason to use Inven is better PowerPoint generation, better native company data (Inven owns the search, so filters work), and workflows built for M&A. Company search is in the product; it is not why teams pick Inven. Inven does not replace Rogo's finance agent, Excel models, or Model ML Notetaker. It does not use Capital IQ, FactSet, PitchBook, or similar licensed terminals as the company universe.
